Mahakal, The Great God, is the God of destruction, meditation, yoga, time and dance. He is the destroyer of evil; parabrahman, supreme being. He is the Supreme Lord who creates, protects and transforms the universe. The 12 Jyotirlingas of Mahakal are the most sacred shrines that define the grandeur of Lord Shiva. Mahakal Yantra Inscription
Rudrashtakam(Shiv Stuti): Written by the great poet Tulsidas, Rudrakshatam is a holy hymn. This mantra is chanted to show one’s devotion to Lord Shiva. There is a huge significance behind this mantra. It is believed that if a devotee recites it with a pure heart, they can see Shiva in his divine form.
12 Jyotirlingas(ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग): The 12 Jyotirlingas refers to the most sacred shrines where Lord Shiva is worshipped by his devotees. ‘Jyothi’ means radiance and ‘Lingam’ is a representation of Shiva – the Almighty Being. It is believed that a darshan of all the 12 Jyotirlingas with devotion will help one achieve eternal peace, happiness and prosperity.
Mahamrityunjay Mantra: ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥ This is one of the oldest mantras in Vedas. Chanting the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra will remove all troubles and obstacles from the path of His devotee. In Hinduism, the glory of Lord Shiva is believed to be magnificent. By reciting this mantra, you can attain strength, peace and contentment.

Dwadash Jyotirlinga Shloka: This is a devotional hymn that offers a holy prayer to the Almighty God, Shree Mahakal. Jyotirlinga refers to the magnificence of the Mahakal and these divine shlokas describe the glory of the immense blessings showered on His devotees.
